EV/HEV Die Tryout Focus Room

Forward thinking has been the catalyst of success for USA based LH Carbide since it was founded in 1966. This past May LH Carbide demonstrated their commitment to embracing the future of e-mobility by integrating their Nidec Minster EV-350-3700 press into their ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified facility. The integration of this press makes a bold statement in the EV/HEV die building market.

Handling the most complex programs with ease, the Nidec Minster EV-350-3700 is outfitted with a bed length of 3.7m, a Nidec Vamco push/pull feeding system, and a rating of 350 US tons. This specialized press line will handle pressing materials as thin as 0.20mm in thickness and, with its dynamically balanced slide, can achieve speeds up to 350 strokes per minute.

The Nidec Minster EV-350-3700 is housed in its own dedicated and enclosed room, including a conference area. All of these features elevate LH Carbide’s ability for world-class Factory Acceptance Testing.
The demand for high precision dies and the ability to stamp these dies during Factory Acceptance Testing is rapidly increasing. With the addition of the Nidec Minster EV-350-3700 press, LHC is now equipped to handle the most demanding EV/HEV programs.
